LANCASTER FC and LANCASTER ELITE Announce a USL Academy Partnership

We are pleased to announce the strategic partnership between Lancaster Elite and Lancaster FC, who will be launching this spring with its home base at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Lancaster FC has been accepted into the USL Academy Mid-Atlantic Division, a league comprised of U19s with a requirement of including players from U16 and above. The Academy is the start of what will be a USL Professional presence in Lancaster in the near future.

The partnership between Lancaster Elite and Lancaster FC will see the Lancaster Elite U16 through U19 Boys be offered a pathway opportunity to the Lancaster FC USL Academy through a structured tryout process. The U16 through U19 Teams will compete in the existing EDP & USYS League structure until the USL Academy Mid-Atlantic Division is built out at the specific age group levels. This important partnership will give Lancaster Elite Players access to high level international and domestic coaches, as well as an in-house agency (OCSM) dedicated to the progression of all the Club's players in securing college placement upon graduation.

The Lancaster Elite Pathway for our U9 to U19 Players will continue to grow and be enhanced by providing the Club’s Coaches access to the Lancaster FC International Coaches. Aligning a methodology structure between Lancaster FC and Lancaster Elite will be an area of focus in coming months. This alignment has the goal of providing the very best resources to our players for their ongoing development.

The USL is currently working to establish a USL Girls Academy structure as the first USL Girls Academy Teams launched in January of 2023. The Girls Academy will be an area of focus for Lancaster Elite and Lancaster FC when the leagues are operational in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The opportunity to be a part of the USL Academy Program is an exciting prospect for those players, who are seeking an additional pathway for their soccer development. Lancaster FC will provide a professional infrastructure and the resources needed to take our players' development to the next level. Additional USL Academy information and tryout dates will be announced in the very near future. We believe that the development model of the USL is second to none.
